I used to keep marbled, tiger, three-lined, red, and slimy salamanders. The slimies were prolific breeders. At one time I had forty. The reds were always the hardest to find...I usually found them in areas of red clay in MS and AL. They made the best "pet."

They only burnt down two houses.
I've had thees dudes breed like mad . Guess I accidently housed them right or something. Ma parents were pretty mad at the pet store guys. It worked out good. He of red to take that surplus.back.

Don't know. Due to their use as fish bait, and popularity in the pet trade I'm thinking they are scarred well outside their range listednin petersons. After all, that ook isnbretty dated as fat as that go's. Iowa gets pretty dang cold, and you find them theit quite a bit. Minisota to, but that was a rumor I never confirmed. I only found them in bait shops that far north.
