Well since there are allot of members on this forum worth a try.

Anyone that served in Vietnam I was with an IOD Unit on Hill 65 in 1969/70.

Along the Song Vu Gia river in the Arizona Territories with Charlie ridge beside us. Near the Thong Duc Corridor of the H Chi Minh Trail

The IOD units were all volunteers we called in artillery on troops movements and allot more using the IOD unit. One actual IOD unit pictured below.

If you were one of us you know what we did seems like we never existed but we did would love to hear from any IOD that served in Vietnam on any of the hills.

I have found a little info over the years and a coupe that have served please private email me here if you were one of us. Semper fi

We only had a map, compass and radio to call when we want a grid burned off.
