I have a couple of Cold Steel Kobuns that I really like because they are light, thin and perfect length. I wish I could find a scout sheath it ( or both if possible, opposite end in one unit). Anybody heard of these? Prolly gonna have it custom made if anyone knows of any reputable makers.

I like this lil knife myself. I busted the belt hook on mine making it unusable. For a fix I just lashed para cord thru the sheath holes. I did it across an inline with the edge. This allowed me to carry it inline with my belt and vertical on my belt. I emailed cold steel about the broken sheath after reading it was an issue. They sent me a new one. I now am back to what you have in the pic an one I can slide it in with extra storage(20 rd double mag pouch).

I had to look up scout carry. The pics I saw would lean me toward telln ya to try lashing para cord thru your sheath to see if that gets you what you want. At the least you are choosing the colors an the positions to lash for.

Good luck.

Good idea. Didn't think of that. May give it a try.

Why are you considering getting one custom made? softer or harder steel? aus8 especially from cs is excellent.

Got a couple of ideas in my head that I think I can do on my own thanks to some suggestions in this thread. Both of mine are AUS8.
