Like LoneWolf71, I too would be looking to go West in certain situations where bugging out was the best option, i.e. nuclear fallout.

With only a rare exception (work) I'm in the main chat room for this site nightly; 10pm -10:30. As I'm getting contacted by interested folks. Right now, the first meeting looks like Cove Campground is at the top of the list.

http://www.covecampground.com/TargetRange.html

Jerry, send me a link to the best place for everyone to meet in the Blacksburg area, and we can see which location (Winchester or Blacksburg) will work for the most members as the first place to meet.

In order to establish a foundation of loosely networked Virgians (and friends) we should aim to have two event in the next 4 months.

Both the Winchester and Blacksburg areas seem perfect locations, and should serve well to allow a good number of folks interested to attend, and network.

Anyone have thoughts about the first event being the weekend of September 12th?

I'll bring the Osama Bin Laden targets. heh

How's Oct. 16 in Winchester, at the Cove campground sound?

Also, everyone give a shout out for what date in December sounds good for meeting in Blacksburg.

Cool, Call me when you know. We'll nail it down, and put the word out everywhere we can.

Blacksburg Va. looks like a great place to meet later this year; 1st, 2nd week of Dec? Little further south, and we can draw folks from that part of Virginia; even northern NC.

I'm working hard to be debt free this year. However, I hope to have my .22 lr when we meet-up. It'l be a good time, and time well spent.

I'm not trying to spam, we have more than a few people interested, and just putting the call out once more.

I live in Northern NC. I am often in Virginia as I pretty much live on the boarder.

If you guys ever want to meet up, count me in. Also, we have a Survivalist group here in NC. In fact we have a new member meet and greet just next week at a local restaurant.

It is awesome meeting survivalists in rl. Those of you who have never done it, are in for a real treat!

Default let's do it, all welcome!

I plan to go up on the 15th and meet up w/ mortalis, I MIGHT be +1. I'll be in a gray chrysler 300 with a betsy ross flag displayed either from car or in back window. mortalis and i want to start a network and this would be a great way to get to know who's seriously interested. p.s. I DO look like my avatar!
