Default Spring 2018 MidWest Get Together - Venue Change and Classes

Advertise Here

We had a slight scheduling conflict with our regular campsite, so we were forced to find a new location. Fortunately, the new site is not too terribly far from the old one. The new venue for the Spring 2018 MidWest Get Together is at Clinton Lake: 700 N 1190 Rd, Lawrence KS 66047

We are in middle (of three) group campsite at the Bloomington Public Use Area. It looks like it will fit our needs just fine. We've also trimmed down how long we will be there. We are going to open up camp on May 2, instead of Apr 30. If you'd like more info on exactly where we are going to be located, please PM me, or post a response.

We've also got some pretty good classes lined up. Some of the are:

Back To Basics Self Defense
Liquid Soap Making
Buying A Bug Out Location From A Realtor's Perspective
Goats 101
Essential Oils For First Aid
Triaging A Mass Casualty

And more. Things are still kind of in flux with the exact line up; family emergencies and sudden scheduling conflicts. Still we'll have a pretty good line up. Of course, we are still going to have our Saturday Pot Luck and Barter Town, along with Conflicted around the bon fire. Friday, instead of Conflicted, we are going to have a "Bring Your Troubles" round table around the bon fire. Bring the group any road-blocks, conundrums, or head scratchers you face on your homestead, or during your journey to self sufficiency and security and we'll see if we can't come up with a solution to your problem. Just remember, any advice you get with be worth exactly what you paid for it.

Again, not the venue and date change. If you need to contact me, please feel free, and we hope to see you there.

I'm in WI but would be willing to drive. I've taught tons of mass casualty and other trauma medical stuff before. I'd be willing to present.
