Default federal tax reduction on payroll?

Today is payday,co-worker mention his check was bigger.
Checked mine,yep,a little less on the fed.
Anyone see a difference?

I know. Whenever that occurred I would shake my head and wonder why they didn't do away with that "feature" and fix the SS deficit. Most folks would not even notice. Or care.
