Default Blacksmith class

Advertise Here

I just went to a Blacksmith class this weekend by Columbus. I was very happy with it because I feel like I added another skill that could be used in the hard times.
We left with 3 small projects finished that I feel we could expand on the skills learned, to be able to fix or duplicate what might be needed in a grid down society.

Working with coal and a hammer can be a mighty powerful skill.

I always thought blacksmithing was a cool skill. I might take some classes and learn about it once I retire. I'm retiring early so will have time. Maybe not go full blown blacksmith with a whole shop. Just learn some basic simple stuff.

Posting a link wasn't hard.

It's $150 for the class.

Watch out, after you leave, your mind will remember all the things you need to fix or want to make. It might end up costing a lot more after, in time and money but you can end up with nice things. HaHa I am looking out right now at a picnic table that needs a brace and thinking I can do it.

Thank you, I only know how to use SB and porn on the computer, so adding that skill is something I should take at the local votec school.

Retiring in my 40's is not a good thing. I have put on so much weight. So now I am looking for things to do. All my friends are still working so on their days off during the week it usually ends up being breakfast and lunch. A computer class sounds good, the blacksmith class was fun and I did it with my girlfriend. I heard of a hatchet throwing class in Ohio does anyone know it.

So the only hatchet throwing class I know about is more about a "corporate team building" type company. They actually have leagues you can compete in.

One in Columbus -

One in Cincinnati -

@MeasureTwice. I have a cure for those issues that arose when you retired in your 40’s. I’m retiring early as well but going for 2 more years. Sooo....you can work my job and I’ll retire now.
You’ll get lots of exercise
