Default New camp receipe for freeze dried chicken

I have a good bit of freeze dried food and am always trying to find a NEW way of cooking it on the trail. This turned out pretty good.

First I started with about 10 spork-full scoops of freeze dried "Chopped Chicken" by thrive. ( Placed it into my titanium bowl with some water and let it hydrate for about 5 minutes until it was good and soft.

Drained off the remaining water. Added salt to taste and stirred it up.

Added about 3-4 sporkfulls of flour and stirred it all up until is was a floury mess.

Took my spork and scooped up several heaping sporkfulls and plopped them into a small 6 inch cast iron skillet with about a quarter inch of grease in it. I flattened out the mounds and let them fry. I flipped them several times until golden brown. Not bad at all. Tasted like fried chicken I would have at the house.

Give it a try.
