I know. Depends on the day. Some days I eat, some days I heat.

Got to thinking about those grits from another post so that's what we had for supper. With a lot of butter, cheese, and Neese's sausage patties. Oh, and buttered toast. Yum

At my parentís house getting them re-supplied.

So tonight is Dadís favorite. Sloppy Joes!

Chopped Poblano Pepper mixed in, thick sliced Dill Pickles on top. With Onion Rings and Baked Beans on the side.

Put one rack of ribs in apple juice with some cinnamon and the other in sunny delight yesterday around noon. Made my own spice rub that I have no clue what is in it. Did like most of my stuff where I just mix a bunch together and give a sniff, if it smells right I taste it and if not I add something that will change the smell towards the tasty.

They've been on the grill at 225* for 2 1/2 hours. We will see if they actually make it to 7:30 or not it's 5 here now. Wife wants to rotate suddenly salad tonight so I'm good with that even though I didn't plan on a side. I planned on just stuffing myself with ribs till I couldn't anymore.

Note: I did put a mix of hickory and apple smoke to them heavy for the first hour.

Last night we ended up going to our favorite seafood restaurant to support them in their reopening. Great service and social distancing. We both had the senior Fish and Chips, I had clam chowder and she had salad.

Tonight I am making a taco/burrito bar with taco meat, refried beans, potatoes, cheese, corn, black olives, lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream.

I'm having a super burrito with everything, heated in the cast iron skillet on the stovetop.

Sounds good and I never thought of putting taters in them. Do you shred or dice?

Diced, like the one Mexican place in town does. I'm actually using leftover cottage fried potatoes.

Friday is always pizza night so that was last night.

Tonight we were going to take our new puppy and have a picnic in the park with local deli sandwiches but weather turned late in the day. Had to look for something that would thaw fast so decided on sautťed spicy chicken sausage links with sautťed red bell and zucchini over polenta with a can of Garlic, Basil tomatoes and fresh parmesan.

Dessert is vanilla pudding with canned Mandarin oranges...hoping it comes out tasting something like a Cremesicle.

I'm baching it for the next week while my wife is in Idaho and my first goal is to clean out the leftovers in the fridge. Tonight I am having the rest of the vegetable beef soup. Might have a grilled cheese sandwich with it, but probably not.
