I lost all my ammo and guns...major loss .

Happened during my wife's boating accident.

I'll probably end up missing her too.

I'm sure you don't have anything. Anything of actual worth I mean. Probably plenty of guns, ammo, and possessions. But likely very poor in happiness, family, and general well being. I genuinely feel sorry for you. I hope you get to a better place.

Stupidest thing I have ever seen. I lost my ammo in a fire. Before the fire I would never have admitted that I owned a weapon. Something is wrong with this post

Just curious, does California allow private firearm sales or do you have to go through an FFL every transfer?

all sales must be recorded by the state. C&R weapons are an exception. Pistols may no be, I'm not sure, I no longer have a C&R.

I guess what I was getting at is, they already know what you have in California.
Essentially you have a registry there. You would almost have to prove your boat sank or your house burned because you have to store them in a safe by law. Not unless all you have is C&R guns.

Personally I won't video what I have, but in most states you can sell that firearm or ammo right after you take a picture of it. The only thing that the "State" is aware that I REALLY have, are my NFA items....they would have to be sacrificial items.

Very true. I get the general idea of why some people are so fearful, but it get's to the point of being comical. Every person saying that crap has multiple FFL transfers under their belt. Hypothetically, should things go completely tyrannical, do you honestly think a squad of jack booted feds are just going just say, "Welp, I guess we better go, he said they're all gone".

The same people screaming security risk, have no issue talking guns here on the forums. They are happily members of gun clubs, and the NRA, apply for CCW permits, and talk to all their friends and co-workers. But show people you have AMMO! Dear God! The man is gonna come for you now! He knows! Sorry to burst your bubble, but "they" already know everything they want to about you. Anyone who utters "They all got lost in....." with any seriousness, is genuinely retarded.

There is no need to refresh a desiccant pack in an ammo can.
