1. A mutation occurred and a non-symptomatic strain of ebola started floating around that was giving people immunity to the original strain that was killing everyone. The virus killed itself. This is the primary reason the outbreak ended. Yes this is the real reason. That's what the science concluded. It had nothing to do with ineffective vaccines that never got distributed in significant numbers.

2. The 3rd world dictators got scared for their own survival and started surrounding infected villages and shooting anyone who tried to escape allowing it to burn out inside the villages. This only worked because Ebola was confined primarily to rural villages and was not running unchecked in dense urban populations. With one exception that still got the same treatment. A wall went up around 1 neighborhood and the troops kept everyone inside. And furthermore it was much easier to know when an area was infected soon enough to quarantine it. Very obvious symptoms and it wasn't infectious for a long period of time before symptoms occurred. You could have a good idea of who was and wasn't infected and keep them away from healthy people.

None of those things apply to this disease. It's not something that if mismanaged could go wrong. It's something that all anyone can do is slow it down to make it more manageable. It's coming, like it or not

Anyone making comparisons of Corona to Ebola need to remember this...

I really got worried fall 2016 when it looked like Hillary was going to the White House

since she lost that election I've been a lot more relaxed.

its true though; one can almost pick a time at random and see *stuff* going down

quo vadis, Lord?
