Trail cameras are good for learning the movement patterns of wild game.

This trail camera was put out today. Hopefully next week I can start posting some deer pictures.

My wife and I went first thing this morning and got the camera.

No bucks in this series. The next weekend I am going back to the lease to get the card, so maybe we will see a buck then. The camera is also going to be moved to another feeder, so the week after next we are going to be at a new location.

In the picture with the hogs, I count 8 of them things!!!! Talk about a lot of pork.

I use a sony dsc-s650. Its one of Sonys economy line. The video is 320X240, which is not that good.

My wifes camera is a dsc-w5, it cost about twice as much as mine. The video mode is 640X480 and the audio is so much better then my camera. She finally got tired of me borrowing her camera and bout me one.

The next camera I want is water proof so I can it out in the rain.

The deer might have been spooked from the camera, but deer are spooky anyway. They could have heard something besides the camera, as there are a lot of coyotes in the area.

Default trail camera deer hog pictures

Just got back from getting the memory card out of the trail camera. The camera was moved to another location, just up a hill from this feeder. Tomorrow evening my son in law and I are supposed to go run the dogs to see if they can find a hog. While we are at the lease I am going to swap the memory card out again to see if it saw anything tonight or tomorrow.

The hogs in these pictures look bigger then the ones in the first set.

Enjoy the pictures.

Got the memory card from the trail camera today. Mostly wild hogs and just one picture of a deer.

The camera was moved to its new location today. So next weekend we should have some more pictures.

Just got the memory card out of the camera. I have what looks like a 5 or 6 point going to the feeder. The memoiry card was replaced with a one gig card, and the picture setting was set to video. So maybe saturday evening we will have some video to go along with the pictures.

There is one picture of a hog, but all you can see his is rear end - so I am going to post that picture; we have enough pictures of hogs.

Got the memory card out of the camera and moved the camera to its new location. This stand is on a creek bottom. The new location is on the top of a hill.

Its a moultrie brand, but there are better ones on the market. This one is very picky about the brand name of memory cards. Use a cheap card and the camera locks up.

This is the new location. Its an old logging road going through a pine thicket with a creek bottom on either side.

Yes, it is a digital camera in a housing with a motion sensor. One of the deer you see is going to be in my freezer before the end of the year.

If my cousin shoot a deer this fall or in the winter, i want to make a mouvie about how we preserve (and improuve the taste) the meet

Now, how much $ cost this kind of camera? I really like it :D

Bogdan
PS Phil, after Kev take pictures with hogs, he will go with the pictures to the sheriff office and put them in one nice poster with WANTED. :D Or take his AK and make them sit near that deer (that from the freezer):D
