When I go shooting, I usually come home with 100-300 more pieces of brass than I left with. So effectively I go shooting and bring home even more ammo.
These last few trips to the range that's been true for me, I think it's all the new shooters we're getting who don't reload. for the last 10-15 years it was usually well picked over more often than not. One good thing about new shooters, they don't know what they don't know & leave me all that free once fired brass. :
Shooting the same as always, this winter I will fill up the brass again. I don't notice that there is even a shortage of components at all where I live.
I have lots of .22 and have been shooting more not less but my centerfire practice has gone down a good bit. With about 20,000 rounds of various .22 brands and weights and several understudies for my centerfire guns the trigger time is good. Hopefully I can build up my centerfire pistol stocks more in the future. Still feel comfortable with what is on hand just less than normal.
