Not as many as it's made out to be. Statistics also include illegal heroin users, illegally gained Rx drugs as well as illegal synthetics. Opiates used correctly and monitored correctly help a lot more people than it hurts. It is a manipulated crisis. I have seen both sides.

No it is not scriptural. Baptism is only an outward sign of the inward cleansing that can only be done by Christ.

Saw a documentary on this before. Witness testimony was very convincing, especially about the incident in the hospital room. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...tal-staff.html

Oh yeah.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen

I agree that properly prescribed and monitored opiates help far more than they hurt.

The problem is when opiates are prescribed unnecessarily and/or not followed up/monitored properly that serious problems occur. It's the illegally obtained legal drugs and the illicit drugs that are generally the killers.

Given the number of overdoses I have responded to as LE, a high percentage started with a legal medical prescription and ended up on heroin or heroin/fentanyl, or were kids that stole pills from a family member About half the kids OD on the pills and the other half OD on heroin or heroin/fentanyl they got after they couldn't get pills anymore Most of the adults that OD on the pills were suicide attempts

EMS use of Narcan saved all but 2 that I responded to.

In any case, it's a pathway in for the devil, whether misuse was intentional or not

What is really mind bending is that after this episode you still do not believe Jesus is God.

If you do not get/answer the call, nothing will change.
Many did believe when they witnessed miracles but many did not
There is always hope that all will accept the free gift that was bought and paid for with The Body and Blood of Jesus Christ
Jesus is especially pleased by those who believe without seeing
I find the issue of pre-determination/pre-destination interesting in this light
I am totally on board with free will
But since God is not bound by time, pre-determination/pre-destination makes sense, i.e. The Book of Life
Then considering that all of Heaven rejoices when a single person is saved, it makes me think the Book of Life is a work in progress from our temporal perspective

Mark 6:4 et seq

The Rejection at Nazareth
…4Then Jesus told them, “A prophet is without honor only in his hometown, among his relatives, and in his own household.” 5So He could not perform any miracles there, except to lay His hands on a few of the sick and heal them. 6And He was amazed at their unbelief.

John 28:28 et seq

Jesus Appears to Thomas
…28Thomas replied, “My Lord and my God!” 29Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” 30Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book.…

It's a little silly when people like you criticize and condemn me for not having my theology right while almighty God keeps me safe from demons.

Forgive me if I put a little more stock in my own experiences than what keyboard commando's say. Honestly, if you could just stop trying to entice me to violate the 1C ...

The first Command is "You shall have no other Gods but me.". If you believe in Jesus Christ as your God you are still within this command since Jesus Christ is THAT God. Denying Him is denying the 1C. So in fact what I entice you is to believe in 1C.

Father, Son, Holy Ghost

Exactly right:

"Denying Him is denying the 1C."

Right! The 1C is not 'no other Gods but us.'

Do you want to talk about demons or how come I'm not a trinitarian AGAIN?

I dunno. My third wife believes, she saw demons flying around my head and had my house exorcised by her church (not Catholic, some off-shoot religion). I guess I am cured though, no one else has seen those little guys flying around my head.
