D**ks Sporting Goods joining the political fight against firearms, now Wal-mart?

I should be surprised, but I'm not.

So much for treating lawabiding customers with respect.

WalMart has decided to be a whore of the liberal cult.

It'd be nice if all loyal Americans would stand together in a massive boycott of WalMart, but they never do (though they kind of did with Dorks).

It seems like many big corporations have thrown in with the liberal cult in its war on America. I think this might be a result of colleges having been turned into indoctrination machines for the liberal cult (as well as filters that filter out those with a mind of their own), as far back as the 80s. You don't get an executive job (or any job in upper management) unless you have passed through those centers/filters.

Affirmative action is also part of it. As voting demographics makes all too clear, it is the white man who most stands up for freedom and against despotism. I think this is the real reason for affirmative action.

No one with a brain believes the lies of gun control. WalMart executives are not stupid enough to believe those lies. And neither are they stupid enough to think that caving in to anti-gun bigots will be good for business; they know that their customer is at least as likely to be a loyal American as a liberal. Their decisions to do these things have to be based in loyalty to liberal doctrines. And that makes them the enemy.

As I understand it they stopped selling rifle ammo, or certain rifle ammo. They stopped selling AR15s years ago, for the same reason. It is proven fact that more people are killed with knives than with all rifles combined, and the same thing is true of hammers, and even bare hands. And the biggest mass murders have all been committed with things other than guns.

So is WallyWorld going to stop selling hammers and baseball bats? And propane and matches?

Of course not, because it'd be stupid. But it's just as stupid to stop selling guns or ammo. Unless the purpose is something other than their stated purpose, as we all know it is.

There's going to be a massive run on walmart ammo now. Better buy it while you can.

After that, buy bulk online.

Maybe check out your local gun store. I am biased but, I know our prices are good and we both have a brain I bet there are other small FFL's the same. I am not going to hassle someone that I know has a 9mm rifle for buying ammo. Walmart, not so much. I avoid Walmart and Amazon for a multitude of reasons, the gun stance is just part of it.

Plus, in NY there are online places that will not ship to an individual, has to go to an FFL.

Ours doesn’t seem to believe in inventory or shelf stock. Ask for an ammo can of 5.56 and watch the look you get. One of the owners told me nobody needs that much ammo at one time. Well I did for a class, so I went to Academy and got what I needed.

So what is the new standard going to be?

Since you will no longer be able to find 9mm, .45, .223 on the wallyworld shelves, are they still the best "survival" options?

Are we going back to the .30-30? .243?

The only reason I give a dam what they do is because.......the less retail stores/sellers the higher the price. Just watch.

I suspect they will still sell $20 per box .223 55 gr PSP or JSP loads, but not anything FMJ or "tactical".

Just got back from the local Walmart, had trouble initially because Walmart declared a state of emergency because the storm was threatening our area and when they do that they suspend sale of guns and ammo.
The manager said okay so by the time he came back with the key there were about 6 other customers waiting for ammo.
I bought enough for the next few range trips, after that i’ll be calling my local ammo guy.

I guess they’ll sell out quickly.
A guy there told me he has a 7.62 AR and that might be a good move because they’ll still be serving the fudds with their deer rifles.

If I don’t build a 7.62 upper I guess i’ve Made my last Walmart run.
This is so ****ed up, we have to deal with the fallout of the actions of some mentally defective *******.

I've been a long-time "China-Mart" shopper. My income is very limited, and "China-Mart" usually has the best grocery prices in my area. That being said, I will be looking for alternatives now, despite the prospect of a higher grocery bill. "China-Mart" has lost my business, and I hope the business of many others.

If they ever get the background checks for ammo they want that’s the end of cheap bulk ammo, no more online ordering of ammo if you have to get a background check.
If you order it and it has to be shipped to a ffl so you can do a background check that will run the cost up, and a lot of places probably won’t even do it.
They’ll just want you to buy their ammo

Sam Walton is rolling in his grave over the pussification of his successors.

This is how the left wins and will continue to win.

I avoid Walmarts at all cost. Maybe one run a month just to get dog food, paper goods.
Every time I go I'm reminded of why there is a 'People of Walmart' site.

I can't remember the last time I even looked at the 'gun case' there. Fudd guns and ignorant employees. Their groceries are disgusting too.

The Babylon Bee has already come out with a good satire headline in response to this.

"Walmart Discontinues Auto Part Sales To Prevent Car Accidents"

https://babylonbee.com/news/walmart-...-car-accidents

It's pretty much as equally logical as suspending ammo sales.

I haven't bought ammo since the California background law went into effect. I think that was its intent. I try not to shop at walmart, there is too much trash in the store, both in the aisle and on the shelves.
