When this was just beginning & mild, I tried that & about everything else available. The helped a LITTLE. But, as it got worse, they didn't help at all.

Some times surgery is the only option.

I know when my Dad came up with prostate cancer last year they refused to operate, he is diabetic with a bad heart and advanced years. They said he could either wait, as the tumors are slow growing, or have radiation. He chose radiation. But he really wanted the thing out and they wouldn't do it.

Bunkerbuster, if you are on Flomax/Tamsulosin there is a good reason to get off of that as soon as you can. This drug can cause serious complications with cataract surgery, and as we all get older, cataracts become an issue as well.

Flomax Linked to Cataract Surgery Risks

The Problem with Flomax and Cataract Surgery

My urologist says he has heard numerous complaints from the ophthalmologists in our area, but at this point there isn't a better alternative.

There is a black box warning for a popular uro medication called FloMax. If you ever contemplate having cataract surgery, it messes with the fine muscles in your eyes and can mess with your surgery.

My ex urologist never brought this up when prescribing this stuff. I am potentially a candidate for such surgery.

Read up on this before using it.

BB, don't know if you've already had it or what, but if not, you might really want to read the following book. https://www.amazon.com/Great-Prostat...s=books&sr=1-5
