Default Book Review: Making things right by Ole Thorstensen

Just finished Making Things Right: The Simple Philosophy of a Working Life, by Ole Thorstensen.

Written by a master carpenter in Norway, the book goes from the bid for the job of renovating a loft all the way through the completion of the job.

I really enjoyed the book, perhaps it was the translation, but the writing is simple and straight forward. It has very little philosophy, it talks about craftsmanship, quality, and gives you a peek into the day to day of a carpenter on a job, how he thinks, how he works, what it's like.

There are no major revelations or insights, it's just a really interesting (to me) book.
