dear cujet.
i am sorry u miss your cabin.
yes we had alot of cold days at the cabin.we only had 30 days of growing season where no hard frost would hit us.
we live in a city now called the city of sunshine.
i think Florida sounds wonderful.
one of the issues out in our woods is much like everywhere but it was cops wouldnt come out unless u were half dead.lol.
recently someone took a log and crashed in and broke the windows and the glass in the door at the local store.now its all boarded up. much like most of the towns windows are in the local town.
too much drama, lies and gossip for me. i couldnt take it all.
so now we live in town.its quite wonderful.
i love snow...but its gonna be pretty nice to sit inside and just flick a button to turn on the heater this winter.
we went out to the cabin the other day and started to close up things for winter.
our electric bill this month was 51$.
wow. what were we thinking? all the propane tanks hauled and paid for. all the gasoline to run the generators.all the diesel to burn poo.all the driving and running our vehicles into the ground.
trying to grow a garden in awful soil and awful weather.
now in town. people put out there veggies from their gardens to say free.
lots of fruits all over free for the taking.
so we are gonna settle in for the winter and buy a house in the spring and become urban homesteaders.
and we are close to the hospital.
thank u.
