Avalon:

I have to say, this was an awesome book. It started a bit slow and matter of fact, but with each page, the writing got better, and better. I found that I read for several hours the first evening, put the book down for the night, and went to sleep. The next morning I decided to get a bit of early reading in before I started my day, fully intending to put it down in 30 minutes. What happened is that I finished the book off in one sitting. I literally could not put it down, or stop reading it!! I blew off my entire day reading! This is one of the best stories I have read in years!! When I finally got to the end, I found myself wanting more!! I canít wait for the sequel!!

Where can the book be found and what is the author? (I know that he is on this forum, but I've had trouble tracking down the book)

I too think it started off a little slow, but then picked up and became a very good read.

I enjoyed the detail in the story and how they all worked together. I recommend this book to others and think the book would make a great gift to give someone who you might want to introduce to preparedness and self sufficient living if you were looking for a discreet way to do so.

Again Good book!

Any updates on when this will be available in hard copy? I read most of the preview on the authors web site and really want to buy this book but I just don't care for ebooks. I have googled and searched amazon but can only find the ebook. Thanks.

Avalon is out in print as of the 12th of October. It was first listed for sale on createspace.com at

https://www.createspace.com/3476769

and at Amazon Books at: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=Avalon+by+L+Michael+Rusin&x=12&y=24

It came out on Amazon Books on the 21st of October. I hope those who wanted the book in actual print are satisfied with my effort.

Seconded.

I got a preview of the sequal last year from the author. It was a short preview that showed some of the new characters to be introduced.

The new characters seemed...awesome.

Default Avalon - L.Michael Rusin

I have recently finished reading "Avalon" by L.Michael Rusin. This was one of the best books, of it's genre, I have read in a long time. It kept me captivated from the very first chapter. This was written in a way that always kept me interested. Sometimes books of this genre are full of paramilitary & gun references, but in Avalon I found an interesting cast of characters & plot, that kept me entertained.

I am waiting for the sequel, so I can continue following the story....

As of August 28, 2018, Avalon has been back up on Amazon. I completely went through the book and rewrote it. Many people who read the original version had many questions and I tried to address the most important questions for them.

It can be found in either Ebook at $5 or paperback for $13. Amazon set the prices for the paperback, not me. I hope those of you who enjoyed the first version will like the rewrite.

I also have a video on YouTube advertising the first book Avalon The Retreat Revised Book One of a trilogy.

Definitely on my list of books to acquire as soon as I can afford it. Actual paper copy just might be the way to go.

I remember getting the original dnl version back in 2009. Didn't know you had a rewrite along with 2 additional books will have to check it out. It was a good story.
