I've lived here my whole life and am truly disgusted by the results of yesterday's elections. The Democrats officially control everything and all bets are off. They will pass the most draconian gun laws South of the Mason-dixon and I'm quite sure they will start with HB4021

Unfortunately, D.C. is the tail that wags the Virginia dog. The clock is ticking patriots. What's in YOUR armory?

So... If I understand correctly, going from neck-deep in **** with another truck-load of **** inbound under a Republican majority to two truckloads of **** inbound under a Democrat majority is a tragic outcome?

I was dismayed at the results of the VA election. I always thought it was a nice state, at least the western part of it. But DC critters have the majority in the eastern portions and it was coming. Sad to see a state with the history VA has to fall. Of course, we watched states like NY, CA, CT, NJ, MA and a few others to go down that road so it's a sign of the times. Probably coming to your state soon enough also.

It's odd that one of the reasons the surrounding states are blue is because DC is such an expensive and dangerous **** hole to live in that people live outside of it and commute in.

I wouldnt trust the election results myself. Many reports of people not being able to vote due to the system saying they werent living in their district, peoples ballots not having all the people who were running on them, issues people were suppose to be voting on not being on the ballots.

Well, the only way to get rid of things like that would be to get rid of the elective process and any kind of representative government. Not sure the outcome would be better ...

Keep the faith, it will be back. I imagine there are a lot of conservatives that didn't bother to vote are in the WTF mode right now. Hopefully they will show up to the polls next election..

See I knew there probably was one - but no mention of him, even here. Nothing will change until the 3rd party candidates pay their dues in local and state offices and get their name out there.

And to think that Virginia was on my short list of potential retirement states just ten years ago.

Very sad. I lived in VA for a chunk of my life and loved it. I saw the changes beginning years ago and left for WV.

Trump should disperse federal employees out of the metro DC area. This would help Virginia go back red and help the country too.

My new personal hero is Juli Briskman. She gets fired for flipping off Donald Trumps motorcade so decides to run for office as a Democrat and wins by defeating the Republican incumbent.
