my avatar was rejected because it has motion. But merlinfire has an avatar with motion! How is that?

Youd have to ask him what specifically he does. Avatars are not screen for acceptance or rejection. If they meet whatever criteria the system uses you can use them.

Maybe the file size was too large or the image resolution was too high.

Check to see if the image exceeded these limits, as stated on the page where you assign the avatar: "Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 80 by 80 pixels or 19.5 KB"

Did you get a message specifically stating the image was rejected due to motion?

When I tried to install it, I got a message that said "no motion avatars allowed"
But like I said "merlinfire's avatar has motion! Maybe I don't belong to the right club.
