If there is still an opening for this....I'm a mechanic, work on cars everyday. I use a streamlight constantly. Never used a Thor light, but would be willing to try....if it's not to late keep me in mind.

Damn your cleverness. Like I'm supposed to read everything on the internet. Curses!

And thanks for the info....I missed it the first go around....so I imagine I'm too late for the trial period.

I received mine the other day and will get it out in a couple of days.... life stacked up.
I think there should be a sticky or official merg thread where all of these can go and not get mixed into the multitude of flashlight threads..

I will wait for that.

I'm certainly interested in reviewing the product.
I have used many flashlights over the years, and have many disappointments....somebody show me a medium priced flashlight the works for more than a year!

Wow, I just received a Thorfire flashlight, model VG15S.

I will begin using the light immediately and make notes for my review.

When I'm ready, shall I post my review in this thread, or in another location here on the SurivalBoards Forum?
Thanks

I will gladly try out a new flashlight and provide a thorough review on it. With an upcoming caving trip I will have a very good location to give it a test. And compare it with other lights I currently use.

I got a couple of these to do reviews on, and was really pumped to do them, but they take wacky batteries! I still haven't found the right size ones.

They wanted me to buy a charger. That when I decided not to test them.
