14 Camden Council has evacuated and rehoused 800 households/4000 people temporarily while they make tower blocks clad with flammable cladding safe for habitation.

11 blocks so far have been ID to have the cladding on the outside. There are 600 that need to be tested.

Edited to add

34 have now been tested and all have the flammable cladding.

15 The London Eye and surrounding area has been evacuated after a WW2 unexploded bomb was found in the River Thames.

16 Burnt Oak Station area evacuated (500 people) due to a fire in a yard containing gas canisters.

My sister lives in Wales and she said the winds were bringing trees down and there were loads of police on country roads. Schools had closed early because of the winds. To be honest though it's **** all compared to what the Americans deal with. We're lucky here, we live in a green and pleasant land.
