They are going to pin it all on a low level paper shuffler, just like they've pinned Epsteins murder on two prison guards oversleeping.

The statement seems to trivialize the change in the e-mail.

Sounds like a DNC media type report, trying to buffer the bad news.

Tampering with evidence is no trivial matter, it's a felony.

If the change was not needed to obtain the warrant, it was really stupid to do so.

If it were so trivial, the attorney would not have separated from FBI.

I am now curious about what was changed and why he's gone.

Yeah hopefully that part is detailed because it certainly is intriguing. Also saw a report (via NY Times so take with a grain of salt...but the IG itself will be released so we'll eventually know) that said the IG confirms the initial Carter Page investigation wasn't tied to the CIA or Steele Dossier.

I was watching Lou Dobbs and was shocked to hear him say the NY Times is reporting that Comey, McCabe, Stzrok and Page are going to be absolved by IG Horowitz.

What the hell!!

Found this article that said they went for Title-1 warrant, which is used against terrorists.

Sundance seems more optimistic about accountability than the NY Times article leads one to believe.

You watch, that shister lawyer is going to claim that some janitor pulled that altered document out of the trash and stuck it in his pile of papers while he was in the bathroom taking a schiff.

Most of us realize and have for a long time, that there is a two tiered justice system in this country; one for the elites and the other for us.
But not giving any of these elites serious time for the felonies they were involved in would prove to the American people that the swamp is bigger than we could have ever imagined and that they protect their own.
My hope for the viability of the Republic relies on the outcome.
Till then, keep your powder dry.

Bingo. It will just be interesting to see if any others are actually identified and how many people, if any, actually get PUNISHED for these crimes.

I mean, we know on the OTHER side that old white guys who supposedly "lie to the FBI" are going to spend the rest of their lives in jail most likely. So by that bell curve a guy like this FBI lawyer should be facing summary execution!

Of course...it won't come even CLOSE to that. I'll still truly be shocked if ANYONE pays consequences for all of this. Just seems that if you weren't on the side of Trump and/or the Republicans, that you can get away with pretty much anything.

Yet it's not fiction.

How much lower can they go?

So the Mueller investigation found no evidence of collusion between Trump and the Russians, but it did result in half of Trump's crew being locked up for lying to the FBI, cheating on their taxes, conspiracy, witness tampering and other examples of general dumbassatude, since their actions were to prevent a conspiracy that didn't exist from being discovered.
What do the conspiracy theorists want to happen? Should the Feds apologize to Roger Stone, Manafort and the rest because they were stupid enough to lie about a conspiracy that didn't exist? Just goes to show that wealth isn't necessarily associated with intelligence.

Because it has taken this long for federal judge appointments to have enough impact that justice may be served. Don't know if Trump has put enough D.A.s in that would actually dare to prosecute anybody. Jeff Sessions didn't do anything for two years. Think about that. There are so many turds floating around in the D.C. bowl it would be easy to scoop one up and send it up the river. Who went to jail? Only Trump guys on charges totally unrelated to the investigation. Those that didn't get convicted were financially ruined, the process is the punishment.

One thing that encourages me is the catholic kid who got a tom tom concert suing the MSM cases are going forward. The appeals court judge initially threw it out and then said it can go forward albeit striking 30 of the 33 complaints from the suit. I think maybe he felt heat for a bad decision that is a new thing?

So much for having a very broad mandate and only investigating half or less of what he SHOULD have been investigating. Biased and inept at the same time.

I dont like the guy, but I have to admit that he's done a great job as President.
I did not like the guy. Once in the 90's my dad was at a business conference in New York and had the chance to meet him but instead he called my mom to say "I'm not going to cross the street to meet that ***hole". Yet, I have come to appreciate his humor, he is the best president of our lifetime, and yes I like him very much now.
For the liberals here, no I don't agree 100% with everything he's done as president or before.

The report is out so why do we always have to wait?

I would one day like to move on.
