Default good gun ranges? ( within 2 hours of seattle)

ok.. so.. i looked... couldnt find much info.. my google fu sucks

but, two years ago i moved to washington, specifically living in seattle, on capitol hill. there seems to be a serious lack of shooting ranges... i dont really give a damn about pistol ranges.. thats easy.. wades and westcoast armory on the east side.. champion arms down in renton... i know of those..

what im looking for is a good rifle range.

typically i just drive out into the mountains, ive got a good little spot but its only got range out to about 25 -30 meters...
my problem is that i just got an aimpoint for my AR... want to sight it in.. need at least 50 meters for that.. but the only rifle ranges ive seen around only allow one round in the mag at a time... thats a huge pain in the ass with an AR...

was hoping one of you guys could point me in the right direction.

Joint Base Lewis-McChord, just South of Tacoma, has an outdoor range that goes to 300 Meters? About an Hour in clear traffic. No mag limit, IIRC. Lemme call my buddy and get you more info.

There is a County-Run Range North of You, Just off (I Mean Right off) I-5...Can't remember range name - Snohomish County? Beautiful place - they put up the Targets for You!

Not a chance, I just got here, love capitol hill, I don't mind making a drive to get some range time.

Did they recently reopen the range to civilians? Two years ago I went out and was turned away. That would be great! I'll have to call them tomorrow! Stoked!

Range 15 on JBLM is an MWR facility and is for ID card holders and their guests only. I have seen civvies there but always assumed they were guests of a SM, Vet, or Retiree. Maybe they dont ask if you dont tell.

Want to find out for sure, call them at 253-967-9803 or 253-967-7056
Or check out their website http://www.jblmmwr.com/nw_adv_ranges.html

Snoqualmie Valley Rifle Club isn't far, but it's member only and guests, so find a friend who goes there.

Issaquah Sportsmen's Club allows the public for $15.

Renton Fish & Game club also allows the public for $14.

Cascade Shooting Facilities (formerly Cascade Rifle and Pistol Club) is only open to the public for two Fridays and Saturdays per month for $10 and only on the 200 yard range, I think.

Single lane range possibly available near JBLM, fee consists of letting me shoot a couple of your toys..... Distance up to 600yds. Targets permanently mounted at 150yds. Portable targets available for other distances. There is another catch, all shooters will have me standing over them the first time so I can get a warm and fuzzy feeling that safety will be maintained.

Rattlesnake Mountain Range is over by Benton City near the Tri-Cities - about 3 hours east of you. But they offer a 1000 meter range plus a number of rifle ranges.

Plus, if you have an inner cowboy, they have monthly cowboy shoots! Yippie-kiyay!
