Exactly the point. I do not condone stone's actions but a two tiered justice system based on political ideology is unacceptable in a free society.

Nice to see Nap showing some semblance of logic for a change.

I keep an open mind with Napolitano's genius.

He's opened my mind to a number of avenues of thinking, despite some of his statements as contrary to my initial judgement.

Step 1: Stop voting for Democrats and Republicans.

I'm not sure what step 2 and beyond are, but any plan must start with step 1.

Agreed. New parties must be formed and take their lumps until they are strong enough to become relevant. However, the established parties will make it difficult, there must be strong resolve to hunker down for the long term.

I've thought about this for the past few years. If a third or fourth or more Party were founded and became viable, what would happen if a candidate did not secure the required 270 electoral votes in the EC ? We are not structured like the Parliamentary Democracies of W Europe . Then what ?

Unless we are willing to make some changes to our election system(which I have mixed feelings about), the best solution is to do to our political parties what Mark Twain recommended for our politicians:

“Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed often, and for the same reasons.”

The prosecutors may have resigned when they realized this case was going to get scrutinized.

Anyone know if they resigned before, or after the revelation of Tomeka Hart's bias?

She has a law degree, and well knows lying/falsifying about bias towards a defendant is criminal.

She should be prosecuted.

If it can be proven the prosecutors knew about her bias toward Trump and Stone , they could be disbarred.

After a quick search, this timeline is what I can gather.

Trump makes statement about sentencing recommendation and getting DOJ involved on 2/11.

Prosecutors resign on 2/12.

Revelations of Hart's political bias are reported on 2/13.

So they basically get wind of unwanted attention to the trial they know is a sham and just an attack using the injustice system and say "uh oh, we otta heya". That is just SO surprising!

If Stone can remain free while it goes through the appeal process, then hold off on the pardon pending it being overturned on appeal. If not, then Trump should pardon immediately. The lefties are going to whine and mewl about it no matter when Trump does it and it's not like he's going to get the votes of those skyscreamers anyway.

Not smart. The Dems and GOP will still win, because no one will vote for the other whack jobs either.

Plenty of people have voted for spoilers, to only effect the (R) and (D) candidates for office.

J. Ross Perot
Ralph Nader
George Wallace
Theodore Roosevelt
Dean Barkley
Marshall Coleman
Robert Sarvis

Why would federal prosecutors resign? Instead of just saying "oh well" and move to the next case?

All those TRAITORS, everyone involved, are on the Trump radar, now. As he always says, "watching very carefully", not exactly what the other side likes to hear...

He could of only played this 2 ways, in the beginning, sooner, or later. Now he has many options. Very smart move.

How many of those are "wins" for America?
Not most.
