Happy turkey day everyone.

Update:

Have 6 relatives out hunting now.

1st kill of the night was a 2fer! ( 2 pigs with one bullet) Fairly uncommon and a new record for the " 1st dump"

On a side note, I dont hunt so my kin can have um. ......so am currently in the rear with the beer.

It's been dismal here.

The pigs are staying deep in the woods.

Acorns are so thick they don't have to move much.

The ranchers are having issues with acorn poisoning with their cows. (yes, it's a thing)

What are y’all using for bait in your hog traps? Seems like corn has quit working. I still see hog sign so I know they haven’t moved out.

Thanks

Add some diesel fuel to it. A little goes a long way.
If that is too harsh for your taste, add a big jar of peanut butter.

If you can...move your traps around every now and then.

Have shot them from live traps with that quiet little gun below. ( Whole different story than what the op was tellin.

YMMV.

as someone who has hunted hogs in my younger years, they are most definitely dangerous. Don't let anyone tell you any different.
