So with the Dems all screaming Gun Control it makes one wonder if something isn't in the works for real this time. Now we all know that a "Buy Back" will never work as the vast majority look at their guns as more than just an investment.

So what about mass confiscation? Well I still believe in the Constitution and I believe that a lot of Americans (especially here on this forum) feel the same way. So without completely suspending the Constitution (which will never happen as the Libs won't want to give up the rest of it as well) it seems that the only viable plan they could go with is limiting or completely banning the sale of ammunition.

Now we all saw what happened with 22lr especially and quite a few other cartridges as well during the Obama years. So is that the next step of the Dem's? And if this were to happen what would happen to ammo availability in the US? Would you be able to make it through whatever was to come with what you currently have and would you change anything about the choices you have made pertaining to gun and cartridge?

That's impossible.

Get what you need now and you won't have to speculate about "what if".

OP something like this will only happen if the Democrats get the house, the senate and the oval office. Vote accordingly.

The rhetoric on “gun control” is absolutely ramping up, and it certainly is worthy of contemplation for 2nd Amendment supporters.

A lot of people speculate that local LE would not comply with confiscation, and I agree. In the past decade we have all seen electronic banking, smart meters (water and power) and smart phones become the norm with most of the population. If a US Government does try to round up firearms or specific makes/models I believe they will start with an edict to turn them in voluntarily. If you aren’t compliant they have endless resources to harass you and make your life miserable simply with a couple of clicks on a computer. With no risk to anyone.

How many people could hold out long without water, electricity or access to any of their bank accounts? Some could, but the vast majority could not. Think of a block to healthcare, prescriptions, etc. etc. etc.

Hope I am wrong but it would be so easy to disarm people with this method. Electronic everything is convenient and makes your daily life a bit easier, but there is a very dark side to it as well.

Watch what is happening in California because if the dems take control in DC many states will follow in their footsteps... ammo is already a pain in the ass to buy here, and now the red flag laws have been expanded. Not good.

Speaking of red flag laws the FBI used the wa. state red flag law to confiscate firearms belonging to a known white nazi in eastern wa, The fbi works under federal law which at this point does not have a federal red flag law so they used the state law.I have no sympanthy for the neo nazi,s but to use this state law by the feds and they did NOT arrest him just took his guns for a minimum of a year,With the red flag law gaining ground in alot of states it is IMO the same as confiscation ANYONE can red flag anyone else and the gov takes your guns without a warrant, THIS IS VERY SCARY. I hope the SCOTUS rules on this soon. JMO

And not for the same bunch, on either side, or any of those who are associated in any way, with those already in there.

We need "real" change, not more of the same.

1) Buy lots of ammo.
2) Buy guns if you can afford to.
3) Target practice often using human silhouette targets.
4) Practice prone position, standing position, kneeling position, and upside down if you feel like it.
5) Buy more ammo.
6) Practice some more on those human silhouettes. Write the word "Dem" on them near the place where the heart might be.
7) Buy more guns and ammo.
8) Repeat all of the above.

Let's drop the rampant speculation about leftist voter fraud, conspiracy talk and other silliness and concentrate on the real problem, with accuracy.

The right will not lift a finger to oppose leftist ideals, as they would then be seen as "evil". Opposition to universal health care, and other leftist ideas, for example, is always weak. Even among principled conservatives.

You'll NEVER see people take up arms against free government programs. That's because it "SEEMS" evil to oppose what appears to be good.

The left is eventually going to win and the US Constitution will be shredded, despite your votes.

Here are a few quotes as to why:

Ideas are like rabbits. You get a couple and learn how to handle them, and pretty soon you have a dozen

Nothing is more dangerous than an idea

Ideas have life, facts are dead

What is important is ideas

Ideas are dangerous, and bulletproof

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea

The only way to oppose the leftist is to create so much wealth, that government programs become unappealing. Voting won't work. What will work is economic prosperity beyond measure. Anything short of that is doomed to failure. This is why the 22 million illegals have to go. Their very presence fuels the leftist.

You can bet that a move like that would spark a push back that would pale anything that was ever seen in Afghanistan or Iraq

If I rememner correctly, the Supreme's already ruled on the banning of ammo or making completely unaffordable and they said that would be infringing on the 2nd.

If they can’t get the guns, they’ll go after the ammo.

If guns are made illegal and people hide them if you ever use your hidden gun to defend yourself you are now as much or more of a criminal as the person you are defending yourself against.

The only way those hidden guns could be use would be in secret or used in mass numbers to fight the rulers.

Gun confiscation is clearly on the Dems wishlist.

Dems are openly talking about it.

If the Dems were able to gain control of DC, I have no doubt they would pass laws to confiscate our firearms.
