For me it was litter. My guys go through 40 pounds a week and I had maybe 80. I have built it up and now have at least a month's worth.

Next on my list will be more, dry, cat food.

What about you? I suspect pet needs are often overlooked.

Its a longer list than the things I have.....and I have a lot.

I've try to stay balanced so its not as if there is any category that I don't have at all but there is a mountain of stuff I need that I don't have. More things than I will ever be able to get unless I win the lottery.

Actual thing I can see me getting in my lifetime or wishful thinking kind of thing?

Actual... a harvest right freeze dryer

Wishlist.... a Jeep Gladiator, armored, custom painted mud brown, with a Diesel engine (bio fuel ready) and snorkel kit

The prep I'd like to get is a solar system to keep the well going if and when the power goes out.

Myself, my need would be to get out of California.
We will be looking at land in Texas near Waco next July.

We're looking at doing the same. FIRST will be the well, so that we have water WHEN (NOT if!) the power goes out, then eventually the rest of the homestead will be put on.

Slightly off topic...
Donít know what kind of litter you use, we use speedy dry for our cat, way cheaper than cat litter.
Itís around $8-9 for a 50 pound bag. If your cats use that much youíll save a lot of money. Can get it at any auto part store

Stuff I need, but do not have...
A job
A house of my own (again)
More Bibles, hymnals, related books, and Communion supplies. No idea, as I am not a Pastor and my denomination does not ordain women...God is leading me on this and I'm not arguing
More prayers (never can have too many)

Not sure if that type of product is toxic to cats...

Pet stores usually have bulk litter, or maybe you could get a pallet from a feed store delivered. Or maybe train to use the toilet...

I need but do not have - - better muscles. The ones I have are too flabby

I've been working at this all summer but by golly it's slow going!

New windows at my cabin in Tennessee; the present ones are in bad shape and far from energy efficient.

What I need? To get a shortwave radio.

Went through the time and effort to get my Amateur Extra class license. Took three tests in 4 months. Had to study like a dog.

That was back in 2015. Still haven't gotten the $$$ to get a decent rig.

And with farming the way it is (farm commodity prices are at 2001 level), it isn't going to be this year that I can get it.

The stuff I use is just clay. Actually the bag says 100% Georgia Fullerís earth. Iím not sure what makes that clay any better than others but thatís what it says.
The cat doesnít seem to mind pooping in it, and sheís almost 10 years old, so I think weíve done some thorough lab testing 😁

Land. I need my own dirt. Every time I get ready to buy, life gets in the way.

Fairy dust to make me invisible when I go into town and an E-collar for the cat so that we can communicate more effectively telepathically. Right now he thinks only in Russian. Mine is rusty and the Google translator is too slow and doesn't have the cat swear words...

I have a pretty easy time of it with the litter. Non driving, cab ride to Walmart is $20 OR an hour and a half each way on the bus and have you ever tried to bring something heavy on the bus?

BUT huge game changer this year with Walmart delivery. My husband paid the $100 for a year unlimited so I point, click, litter. Price is the same as Walmart. I use Fresh Step with Febreeze and it's about $15 for 40 pounds, easy to use (smaller bags). I can also get pet food, treats in addition to the people supplies.

Chewy also brings it but the have a minimum order for free shipping.
