Merry Christmas,

Conifer tea, pine, spruce and cedar, even more wonderful with sweetener . If you arn't tapping consider tapping birch or maple this spring, the sap is a treat.

Best wishes and the greatest gift of all.

Default Messages printed and delivered

After a bit of a delay (broke my foot), I finally made it up to MMM's hide-away and delivered his Christmas package with all of your warm wishes tucked inside. Mike lives in a truly beautiful area. Saw a plethora of deer, two bull moose, fox, skunk, and my first up-close porcupine. I posted a bit more on his other, ongoing wilderness thread.

Sincere thanks to those of you who contributed.

@Mike, survival is being flexible. If you don't have things ready on your mountain, consider taking your camper to Arizona. Quartzsite area is the place to start. Be safe.

@oalo, Get back to us with a report on how mike is doing.
Oalo did post more in my wilderness thread and I will give the link at the end of this post in case some missed that with pics I have posted over the past few weeks.

Within five years I hope to make my mtn place into a strong Mountain fort, even with a ten or so foot high log pole fence similar to old west forts. It will be mainly a privacy fence although I might enclose the central half acre which has my bunker and now the long garage I tell about in my blog wilderness thread.

I have used that verse to help inspire and motivate me to do more. When I was building the bunker, carrying many dozens of eighty pound bags of concrete, logs, rocks etc. I also thought of some instances in my past such as when a factory "foreman / team leader" who had told me, "what do you want now you worthless piece of ****" That really motivated me and I kept thinking I am not worthless and I Must do what I need and want to do no matter how many think I am foolish or telling me that I cannot do this or that.

I have only seen one bull moose a few years ago when he was walking down my private dirt road = the first day of hunting season. I see much more wildlife during hunting season and when neighbors are at their cabins one or two miles away.

That is true and while I am not as strong and healthy as I was 30 or so years ago I do feel better and stronger after spending all summer and now fall working so hard. I felt like I was dying in the motel I was in for a year = last year until July 8, 2019. I also had bad back pain a few weeks before July but with all the exercise and hard work I am feeling better. I just need to eat more and I will with I do think that I finally have at least a one year supply of all kinds of food.

This is the only time I likely will contact you in this post. IF you or anyone is within a two or so hour drive I will pay all of your expenses plus much more to help anytime from now until Nov. After Nov. first there will be likely two or more feet of snow pack and keep snowing until early June.

I have no mailing address since I have no street address and I plan to live on my land every day and night from now until possibly 2 or even many more years. Someone or two have posted about me being off grid. And when I cannot and will not go to town such as to a library then I am very very much off grid. I would like to be off society and possibly not even have an ID or drivers license but will see.

Here is my "blog" wilderness thread with quite a few pics and much more info in case some have missed them. >>>> https://www.survivalistboards.com/sh...=84562&page=56

Again thanks to everyone who has posted or thanked. Especially thanks to Oalo who is a very brave, kind and caring person. I posted more in the above link.

Hey Mike, long time no see!

Good to hear from you. Nice to know you´re feeling better and stronger.

6 months of snow? well, it sounds like a great way to "preserve" you

Cheers!
