I saw this on woot this morning. I don't think it's worth it. I'm personally wanting a radio that has shortwave frequencies, as well... and this doesn't. For $50... I think you can find something else.

The only real + with that one is that it has an FRS radio built in. It is right around the normal price for these without the FRS built in. I have a Grundig which I think is related, and it has short wave built in, but no weather radio. It works very well.

without shortwave, it's useless after tshf.

I suggest that you look over the selection at C Crane. I like the C Crane pocket shortwave, SWP model. Really small and about $50. It is worth web surfing for best price.
