I visited last year for a couple days, mind you I was at a hotel and walked to the Space Needle and Pike's Place didn't seem bad to me. Maybe I just missed the homeless where I was, anyway it looked better on the surface than Baltimore here in my back yard.

Lets use the lefts own playbook and bus all the country's bums to where they have their powerbase I.E. seattle, Portland, sf, la, Hawaii. It might give them a wakeup call to what will happen to the rest of our country if they continue.

Militant bicyclists. They go out of their way to make sure you know their rights, and that they should be treated just like a motor vehicle (until they don't want to be treated like a motor vehicle -- i.e. stopping at stop signs, using sidewalks, etc)

At some point, mankind will realize it's not feasible to allow people to skate through life living off of others, without putting forth any effort to do for themselves. Just ain't sustainable.

Won't be long before long pork marinated in ripple is haute cuisine in LA's ever growing tentopolis. We should just gulag the coastals.

"Long pork"...been a while since I have heard that term. No safer in this context than eating deer infected with chronic wasting disease. Aside from the taboo, I wouldn't touch it with a 10' pole.

How is it that you are surprised by this? They are Communists & killing people they don't have any use for is what they do.

Next time you go to the ER and wait multiple hours, for less than mediocre service, all to be billed 7x or 8x the rate you should be......

Thank medicare and medicaid patients.
Thanks Obamacare
My wife's an RN; deals with the Medicaid administrator for LA County. TPTB who are in charge of it think everything is rosy in the travesty of government-run healthcare. We know a lot of nurses who work in ER's, and the majority hate the levels of threats, disrespect, mental illness/polysubstance abuse cases, homeless that use the ER as a short-hop hotel.

Most of the public have no concept of what healthcare has become, and don't seem to want to know ('surely, it can't be that bad?!!')

Downtown LA looks like Seattle, and smells like a urinal. The mayors, and City Councils, of both cities don't want to do the hard-line work of changing things; easier to throw money at the problems, for commissions to study it, let their hearts bleed over the problem but produce no solutions. Yet they'll say that their cities are beautiful, and that industry is 'vibrant'.
Exactly! My wife and I are both RNs. It’s ****ing unbelievable.

Urban centers have been in decline for years now---when you can't think it will get any worse, you find out it already is---MUCH worse. Downtown L.A. is turning into an open sewer---zombies are real, you see them walking around DTLA daily---mindless drug addicts, mental cases, every combination of the above---billions spent, can't see any difference! Common thread? ALL governed by liberal pukes telling us we have to spend more---new and higher taxes---more fees---the end is near---productive people and families will move out---inner cities will look scfi/horror movies---welcome to the future...

Saying seattle looks better than baltimore is pretty faint praise.

Seattle has a lot of big problems but there is a lot of money being made. But prices are high so you need a lot of money.
Just saw they expect 1.2 million cruise passengers this year. Convention center is overbooked and not enough hotel space.
Great place if you've got money. And safe enough that bill gates drives to ****s drive in for burgers on his own still.
