Default Ordered a Sig P365

Advertise Here

Been meaning to snag one of these for awhile. Seems smaller than my 7+1 Ruger LC9S Pro with more capacity.

Looking for recommendations on holsters, weapon lights, and spare mags (10, 12rd, or 15rd).

Are the 15rd mags reliable?

Looking for a pocket holster and OWB &/or AIWB.
I've been using an old Uncle Mikes Pocket holster for my Ruger.

Last I checked the LC9s took 7 shot mags. Did that change? It may be smaller in some dimensions but your LC9s is lighter and thinner.

I'm thinking about upgrading the same pistol. For the role of lightweight carry I had my LC9S and I really like that pistol. But as you mentioned this is about the same size as the P365 but the 365 had the better capacity and similar triggers that I like. Have they buffed out the early problems with them? Mainly the firing pin concerns me.

Also, I saw they came out with a new SAS version with a nifty sighting system. I might check that out when I am ready to upgrade the LC9S.

We just sold two today at the shop. Along with the XL 365. And sold 5 15 round mags. The custom mag dumped all of them and loved them. We have sold more in the past few days than anything else.

I'll have mine next week - Thursday or Friday. It feels very similar in the hand to my LC9S. I imagine the grip is a little thicker. I'll take some side by side pictures.

I found mine at a shop I frequent in Arkansas - so am waiting for them to transfer it up here to Missouri.

Looking on Gunbroker they are selling as low as $430 + shipping ($35) & transfer ($25) = $490:

There's a shop in Missouri (4 hours east of me) that has them for $439 + tax. Not worth the drive.

The 15rd mag would be a good backup mag. I'd carry it with a 10rd mag in the gun.
No surprise, being Sig and all, spare mags are around $50 each with shipping.

Excellent pistol. I carry in a Vedder Light Tuck AIWB. I don't bother with weapon mounted lights on such small pistols. I always have a handheld light and prefer that setup. The Vedder allows me to carry with the 12rd. mag and I carry a spare in a Reload Wrap in my weak side front pocket.

I carry mine on strong side hip, IWB and like the Clinger. I think it's called the V3? It's the one with the leather tab on one side. Because it flexes, it really pulls the gun's grip in. The 365 disappears on my 310 pound self.

Picked the gun up yesterday. Shot 70rds through it (all functioned perfectly) earlier this evening at my 25yd gong. Finding I hit best using the 1st knuckle of my index finger. Sight picture is center of mass.

Grabbed a 15rd mag and a Tagua Belt Slide Holster (for a Glock 43) at another gun shop in Springfield yesterday afternoon. They had a ton of 12rd mags but only the 1 - 15rd mag.

Some pics:

It's a smidge shorter in length and height compared to my Ruger LC9S Pro

A tiny bit chunkier but not noticeably so.

Mag comparison - 7rds vs 10rds:

Comparing the 15rd Sig mag to Glock 19 & 17 mags:

My old universal Uncle Mike's Pocket Holster works just fine.

On the Kimber. How many rounds do you have through it and how is the reliability? The micro 380's can be ammo picky, at least the LCP380 I carry is. It will eat anything of the 90-95g flavors but anything else, gets touchy.

I have over 2ķ rounds through mine and Im getting ready to transition back to the P2sk 9mm for winter carry.

The Kimbers look sexy, price tag reflects that too.

I have less than 1K. It hates sig fmj ammo...it’s an ammo snob.
It will hang up every other mag around the 4th round with sig.

It’s favorite target rounds are old school mag tech 90gr.

I read that Colt Mustang springs can help with it but I never tried it...sounds like making a Frankenstein.

We just order the 365 SAS and it is crazy cool. The sight is in the frame and it is super bright.
