Default Wifeís new revolver.

Wife has got a new revolver. Itís pretty fun to shoot. It has 45colt and 45acp revolvers. She was shooting acp today because well I have got thousands of rounds of acp and not one box of 45colt. Have you priced 45colt ammo 😮? Iím not digging the fake ivory but itís her gun her rules. She going to get a belt and holster to wear at the farm do to the amount of bear scat we are finding.

I on the over hand was feeding the beretta m9 and trying to shoot the Ruger American rimfire but my Sasquatch size body wonít let me line the sights up. I have to hold it away from my body to get a cheekweld.

You see so few of them, I was beginning to think I had the only 20Ē barreled, solid carry handle rifle in captivity.

Mine is an A1 rear sight though, and I put surplus triangular handguards on it.

Great choice
I have a "few" .45 Colt single actions
I know it is a typo, but you intened to say "cylinders"
You need to reload
For $.15 I can load a bear and anything else killa
Save some money, have some fun
Otherwise, the Underwood standard pressure Penetrator is what I would send my wife out and about with
Regardless, great gun

That Ruger is a great example of a perfect "If you could only own one handgun" choice- it's got open carry, home defense and animal defense covered. Even concealed with a bit of effort...

I had a pair of ruger vaquero in 357/38 and like a dummy sold them off. Sad thing is some of my favorite guns are ones I let go.

I've got the same thing in 357/9mm. It is a lot of fun at the range. Wouldnt grab it over a Glock 19 for serious use but it does have its place.

Oh Iíd definitely take my Glock19 over it. I loved into the 357/9 but I have about 7-9 thousand 185g 45 projectiles that I bought for 45acp. They are wad cutters and wonít feed in my 1911.

I maintain a very strict never pass on a 20in Colt rifle policy. ( if I can get it for the right price.)

From what I have heard, the 20" guns run the longest for some reason
The optimum length for longevity

And now we know where they all went...!
Except the ones Nomad has, of course. He probably paid $247 each, too. He gets some crazy deals .

Longevity probably has to do with the rifle gas system and the relative gentleness of the cycle.

If I can find my old phone I will post some slowmo video of a 20in firing vs a 16. A 16in even with a mid gas system is very violent. The 12in has system is very gentle in comparison.

I noticed that typo after I sent it and was like Iím not editing that. 😂. I have a 5gal bucket of 45 185g wad cutters. I need to find load data as I want to load 45colt brass.
