Just realized this was a 6 year old Necro Post. WTF couldn't you have just started a new thread!?

Warranty. They would have taken care of all of that.
I considered sending it in on warranty but it left such a sour taste in my mouth I traded it for a loss and sold my second NIB AR556 to a buddy for a loss.

Yeah, I'm pretty much a casual shooter, so I think if I take care of my DTI I will be fine, I don't need it to be top of the line...

I think the delton is fine, clean it good, and put some rounds through it and report back how it functions. I've sold quite a few to customers and in the last year have not had one complaint.

The kids got me an M & P Sport some years ago. I've run approx. 20 -30 k rounds without a hick-up except when it was brand new where a couple stuck before it sized up. Mine has been thrown in the back of the truck, back seat, on the floor, in the dirt, etc. As mentioned above, it is a great entry level rifle. Not as smooth as my others, but fun to shoot. Seems like it shoots similar to an AK - sort of klanky. I always take it when we go. One goal is to run 100k out of it.
I don't know anything about the other one mentioned.

Nightvisionary - I have no idea what you mean by "6 year old necro post." I just joined this 2 weeks ago when I bought the rifle to find out more about it. My suggestion to you would be spend more time outside shooting rather than trolling threads here.
