California Senate OKs bill raising age to buy rifles, shotguns from 18 to 21
By Elizabeth Zwirz | Fox News

Quote:
The 23-10 vote in favor of the legislation allowed its passage to the Assembly. It extends age and purchase limits that currently only apply to handguns.
More gun control from the Golden State... this is almost certainly going to be signed into law in the looneytoon state

Curious to see if the NRA fights this.

I'm sure other restrictive states are watching and planning something similar.

How about Gov Scott in Florida? He signed off on a bill that required the same infringements after that frustrated virgin had a temper tantrum.

..............

Don't restrict my 2nd amendment rights because Big Pharma's prescription kids that are enrolled in the failed school system are acting out.

Last I remember, panic buying of guns and ammo in California created a shortage in the rest of the county. Must be a lot of people with guns out here.

There are a lot of people there, but I don't believe California alone was the prime mover in any shortages.

Fixed it.

I live in rural California, i.e. the part that still likes the constitution, and the flag and ARs. The part that's wanting to make our own state because we're tired of this crap.

The coastals would never pass it, that would take away thier *environment* and the ability to lord it over the knuckledragging Americans who hold a monopoly on common sense. At best you would end up with three states, each with a large s***hole blue cancore continuing the insanity.

I am also a former California resident, now living in free America.

But as much fun as it is to dump on my old friends, we live in a country founded on liberty, as with laws constrained by a written constitution.

So no matter how stupid liberals are, they still deserve the right to self defense, and their rights to keep and bear arms are still protected by the 2nd.

Perhaps one day they will remember this.

Another idiotic law that will solve no problems other than continued infringement of a Constitutional protection. I still think the CA gun lobby should hire the porn lobby to lobby on their behalf. They seem to do a much better job.

I WISH I had enough money to buy more than one rifle a month. Hell, if I could afford one every 3 months I'd be happy.

So, again, another law passed that does nothing.

In CA the roads are overcrowded and crumbling, homeless are killing people and leaving feces and needles in the streets, education is one of the worst in the nation, a pension tsunami hovers above the head of everyone in the state and illegal immigration is out of control. But these idiot CA politicians are worried more about banning cow farts and plastic straws and enacting meaninglessness gun control.

There is a serious problem with buying more than one rifle a month; safes are expensive!

Every piece of firearm restricting legislation of last 19 years ( Except Ahnold 50 cal ban) was brought forth , rammed through committee , and passed by strict party line vote by Democrats . Remember this when you think it’s kosher to vote Democrat or Lord of the flies Libertarian and enable Democrats ...

I am really starting to hate it here. If Newsom is elected governor, stand by to stand by for pure stupidity to be ramped up and continue to become the norm; pushing what’s left of us constitution loving, god fearing, gun toting conservatives out.
