Ummm.... population? You know...the people that live there? Of which there are MANY?

Are you seriously that far out in space that you have NO clue about any of this?

Las Vegas...5000 people in 1930....over 2 million now. California, 5.6 million in 1930...almost 40 million now.

Even a total climate change tool can see that's a LOT more change than the climate has done...even IF it were ACTUALLY changing at the rate the climate Chicken Little types are claiming.

No matter WHAT the climate does, there is NO possible way the Colorado can keep that many people hydrated, and that entire area irrigated.

And California wants MORE people, especially from Mexico?

Please, try and get real, and quit blaming the water shortage in the South West on climate, it's an absolutely absurd thing to do.

Ummm...they emit the gas as long as they are growing...so NOT cutting them down will release even MORE gas.

"The tree emissions measured in some regions are enormous, with an international team led by Sunitha Pangala of Lancaster University last year estimating in Nature that just the trees in the Amazon’s seasonally flooded forests were the source of between 14 million and 25 million metric tons of the gas annually—"

Reading....it's fundamental. Duh.

Ok want to make sure people here understand that trees convert CO2 into Oxygen, via photosynthesis, and the gas they produce is helpful to humans.

Well trees produce produce some methane when they grow, rot, burn.
But when they rot/burn they lease a lot of carbon.
They are kind of handy with regards to photosynethics, oxygen and releasing water
vapour in the rain forest.

So what exactly are you proposing?
