My FAK

Just a note, I posted this on several other forums to which I am a member. Sorry if this is a repeat.

This kit is designed to be attached to my Bug Out Bag and used for injuries sustained to myself or others WTSHTF. I placed an emphasis on OTC medications as these will most likely be in high demand. I also suspect that there will be a high amount of gun shot wounds and burn injuries.

I am not a EMT (Yet). I'm currently studying Biology in the hopes of getting into med school. Next year I am taking EMT classes. I have done quite a bit of research (thanks to these forums and several other online sources). I know how to use everything in my FAK and have practiced with spares.

I do not think my current skill level can even be compared to a certified paramedic. But I believe that do to my research and minimal training (CERT classes, ect) I believe I am better off than the average man on the street (and if that average man is a doctor, than he will have a good supply of medicine to help treat me or those close to me)

I will be posting my Bug Out Bag shortly and will post a updated link here.

Comments? Questions? Additions? I would LOVE the help. I think I have done a good job so far. Please make it better. You may save my life some day
