You can't make this stuff up. A gang of monkeys attack a lab and run off with test samples.

I say let the monkey keep the sample.
Who knows... it may come up with a vac before humans do.

Too many holes in the story to establish veracity. It jumps from India to Thailand and back. Is there a world-wide monkey movement here, a planet of the apes thing?

Start with home did the monkeys get access to the lab tech, and go from there. Was he stealing the virus and carrying samples home in his lunchbox?

Samples of what sort? Blood samples from active patients? Used testing swabs? Petri dishes cultivating large samples for research purposes? Which would itself add to the mystery because how would wild monkeys gain access to what should be a very secure facility with airlocks and the like.

No disparagement towards the OP intended; I have seen this story elsewhere today with Zerohedge the source. I am not buying it.

Was it from The Onion?

I know it wasn't. Wild monkeys have been a problem in India for a long time. Kind of like rats in NYC.
