Hello, many you have probably never really noticed me on here before but my name's Paul.

I have some information for everyone on the Swine Flu. I'm reluctant to give up my source but I will say that he works for DHS at the Pentagon and is a member of my immediate family.

This is what he tells me:

So far there are only 91 cases in the U.S. No citizen has died from it - the media says the "US" has had its first death, but the death was a Mexican teenager who came to the US for treatment and died while here. So far, the largest concentration is in New York City at 50 people confirmed with the disease. There are unconfirmed accounts all around the US though, but keep in mind that "unconfirmed" cases include everyone who walks into the doctor saying "I have a fever and don't feel good." So the doctors at those hospitals take their blood and send it off, thus making another "unconfirmed" case.

This is all he's given me thus far. At the Pentagon they're working some long hours but no one is at "general quarters" (his words) yet. I hope this helps.

Paul

Perhaps you misunderstood your family source. The Mexican national who died of H1N1 flu in Houston, Texas was just under two years of age, not a teenager.
