Default OANN website does not display correctly for me.

Not sure what they did but starting yesterday afternoon all I get when visiting the website is the block image below. Probably a function of interference with the ad block and image blocking software I run due to limited Data allotments but I used to be able to see titles of news stories and read them as well as bring up the discussion area.

If they keep to this new format I will no longer be a viewer of their content. I do not have unlimited data to stream videos and noise. Not a big fan of videos in the first place over reading text.

Most of them are going this route, if you ad block them they will keep you out.

FYI, I have ad block plus and ghostery active and OANN.com comes up fine for me.

Might be my image blocker though if I remove it I get the website with pictures but still no text. Also I run Open SUSE Linux so Firefox and the Add ons are a bit different than those for Windows folks.

Your browser has blocking also and MS defender or your antivirus, etc. like you said and the image blocker would be my guess. I just wanted to give you more info to go on.

But you usually get a pop up saying to whitlelist your blocker.

Well whatdyano? After all this time I see OANN is once again working for me. I had deleted them from my Bookmarks but every now and then, like today, I have given them a check to see if they had changed their site. This is without changing any of my blockers.

Wonder how long it'll last?

Most of the time when I have similar problems, they solve themselves.

They probably made changes to the website code and then realized they created a problem. That's not unusual.

Browsers do not all render web pages in the same way. As a web developer, I still see differences between IE and FireFox.

I run openSUSE Linux with KDE. No Outlook whatever that is. However the problem went away as I mentioned in my last post. Thanks though it might help someone using Windows.

I know you are on firefox, but open up an IE window and goto tools/internet options/advanced/ "reset", and if that alone doesn't work then on the same page also do "restore advanced settings". You may have to figure out some passwords and redo a few tweaks, but that should reset your browser. It usually carries over to the other browsers as well. Also, try opening the same page in IE just as a reference before you do anything just to see if it's the browser setting, or something else, like others said. I had that happen to me this morning at work with yahoo home page not displaying correctly even after a reboot. Checked for recent updates or programs, etc then finally did the "reset" and it worked perfectly.
