Default Video: Olight i1R EOS Keychain Flashlight Review

The Olight i1R EOS keychain flashlight is an ideal everyday carry flashlight - at least to me anyway.

What I liked about the Olight i1R EOS flashlight:
  • USB rechargeable
  • Simple on / off with two brightness settings
  • Weighs less than 1/2 ounce

What I did not like about the Olight i1R EOS flashlight:

some companies try to put stuff like a strobe or an SOS on their flashlights. All of which is pretty useless for a basic handheld light.

The Olight i1R EOS does exactly what it is supposed to do, and that is provide light.

Full disclosure, the light was provided at no cost to myself.

I liked it enough it is now my EDC keychain flashlight.

Something I honestly liked about the light is being able to top off the charge while sitting at the computer desk. Just take the lens head off, plug in a micro-USB cable, and let it charge.

While charging an LED glows red. When fully charged the LED will change to green.

I have had the Olight i3S in my EDC for over 4 years now, awesome and tough little light.

I'm really liking this i1R, I'm going to have to get me a couple of them.
I have to agree on all the bling most flashlights seem to need to have, I just want a flashlight so see things with, which isn't easy to find. Off/on w/o cycling thru is also a plus, I hate having to do that like I do with all of my cheap work flashlights.

Thanx for the review
