That will never happen.

When did they start making Colt's in China?

I didn't realize Wallyworld had that much stroke.

It depends on your market, some wally worlds don't carry guns at all. Some will only have bolt or lever guns and shotguns. I live in the sticks in TN, so our wal-mart sells ARs, they had 2 of the 22lr models, plus a DPMS sporticle for under 6 bills. I don't remember the other brand but it was close to 900, and they had the SIG AR.

I was looking at it wondering why SIG would even bother building them. I guess to get a small slice of that market pie. I got a close look at it but didn't see where it was any different than the other brands out there, to command the extra money, but its a SIG yea whatever. They make such nice semi-auto 5.56 rifles, I can imagine some Austrians had a good chuckle over the plan to make AR-15s.

I think that any Walmart that sells firearms can order any gun that you want. They order from Sports South, just like most other dealers.

Browse here:

http://www.internetguncatalog.com/De...aspx?tabid=179

Ask the guy behind the counter to pull out his SS catalog when you get ready to order.

And there is no "special build" for Walmart. You're getting the same gun you would through any dealer that gets his stuff from Sports South.

I saw in the Farmingdale store out here -- they took the straws off the shelves

Some manager figured out kids were making Pea-shooters with them

They could pop-out an eye

The walmart here had a Sig for around $900. It was a tough decision between that and the Colt that I picked up at a gun shop. I just kept thinking about the Sony laptops that were made specifically for walmart stores. Could not hang with buying something from there that was already going down in quality.

My walmart here in north Alabama has both Colt and bushmaster AR's and also has the sig556.

With all the stuff made in china walmart sells, the only thing I want from china they cant sell and that would be their AK's.I would be happy with just some ammo and mags at my local walmart from china.

People from other countries must be in disbelief that you can go to the grocery store and buy a gun. I think it's a good idea really. Let all the idiots wipe themselves out, let natural selection run it's course. They should make gun laws lax in Asia, solve the over population crisis .

Was just at the Mechanicsville Va Wally a little while ago and freaked out when in the case I saw a Bushey M-4 forgery flat top with removable handle for 917.00. Guy said they also had Colt LE, DMPS and something that started with a "W" in the back.... The colt le's sold as soon as one hit the case for 1067.00 per him...
They also had TULA ammo in 223 and 762x39 for 4.97 a box...

I need to move to a state where Walfarts carry AR15's.....

....this whole concept of walking in their and finding a Colt on the rack is very foreign to me. I'm lucky if I can walk into mine and find a BB gun and some 12 gauge birdshot.

Must be a South thing. Or Central thing. Or I'm just wrapped up in anti-gunnerville North East thing....

Hmmm....at Wally World? I'm not doubting your claim at all brother but personally, I wouldn't buy toilet paper from Wally World... www.cheaperthandirt.com and www.sogarmory.com here in Texas are my two main vendors. Both Rock!

There has to be a catch, must be factory seconds, warranty returns or something wrong with them.

Unless they are Chinese licensed models

Four years ago I left the North East and moved to America. 8 guns later, and having ammo shipped to my house, I finally feel free.

Move brother! Move!

My state isn't AS bad as the other crapholes that surround it.

We just have "Elmer Fudd's" running things where you have "rights"....but it comes with a buttload of ordinances, laws, and redtape.

In my state, it's illegal to sell wine and beer in the same store. Can't sell beer in a supermarket. All about the taxes and fatcats around here. You got rights. But you're gonna pay dearly for them at every turn.

Just paid the state $30 for a public-range shooting permit that spans only 6 months at a time.

You can put in to get an automatic firearm...but better have the property to shoot it on because it's illegal to discharge at any range. You can shoot pistols and semi-auto rifles....but no shotguns. And you better make sure you only have 3 rounds loaded in that mag at a time.....

Well, we found out that this is not true today.

Only Walmart stores in Alaska will order pistols, according to the counter guy. A previous counter guy had told me they would order any gun that Sports South carries.

Very strange, but that's what he said today. Lawsuits I suppose.

$1,067 or similar for a Colt is a great price... and yes they are all made in USA even if forsale at Walmart. Quit complaining and take advantage.
