My wife is gonna kick my a$$ if I bring another can of soup in this house!!! Oh well........... what do they say about it being easier to ask for forgivness instead of asking for permission??

Maybe she won't look under the bed..............
LOL. I hide extra cans etc under the bed in the spare bedroom. If my wife ever works up the courage to look under there, I am dead meat ! I also have cases of #10 cans of rice under my large desk in my office. As spring warms this area up some, I am going to put about 8 pallets under the house in the cool dry crawl space and then put sealed buckets etc under there also. I know she will never see them. Be creative if you have to. It works

Big R stores...in Billings, Montana it's called Shipton's Big R. Not sure if it's more a local (Montana, Wyoming) sale, or at all stores nationwide. Here's a link with some locations.

I have no idea if this is nationwide or not...but if you have access to a commissary, they have a coupon for 75cents off of a large box of cheeerios, making the price a little under $1.75....that is a great buy for the large size....

With March a few weeks away it's time when a lot of companies should be putting winter items on clearance. If you hear of any deals postem here!

I think this thread may be going somewhere.

I edited the thread title a bit and made it a sticky so it doesn't get buried and is easy for folks to find.....so keep the deals coming

1lb propane cylinders for .79 cents? I'd clean them out, regular price around here is 2.50, some supermarkets even sell them for $4.99.

My Walmart (florida) has Ozark Trail sleeping bags (rated 40-60 deg) for $9.88 each. I bought 3. Good temp rating for our area and can be used for anybody who ends up staying that we weren't planning on or can be used for blankets or barter.

best deal here in the SW for milk is 2 gallons for 5 bucks. that's 2.50 a gallon. Soups and canned veggies and what not are outrageous. Even at "discount" stores. 1.49 for assorted veggies! Cheapest I've seen are like the tomatoe pastes and whatnot stuff you need to add to a meal for about 89-1.09 a can. It sucks! However things like mac n cheese in the boxes you can get for like 2 for a 1.00, ramen 12 pack flats for 2.00. Fruit..forgetthaboutit any good fruit here is non-existant, I'm also noticing stores here are pushing out distilled water and increasing the "purified" water. .89 a gallon for it too btw
