I prefer Eversafe over MRE.

To me it seems eversafe meals are pointed towards the civilian market

One too many things on Facebook called "Farmies". Would you post a link to the real one? I'd be interested in checking that out.

I want to point out first it's a great deal; that is, there is no other way to say it- great deal. Eat em all up right now, test one and save them to eat later, straight-up SHTF prep, straight-up barter bait, whatever you like- great deal.

having said that, I was not real impressed with 3 different types of commercial MREs I bought in mid 2009? I had been making good money that year and maybe around Father's Day? I wanted to buy my father some S&P stuff.... one night I had a couple-a-few pops and started Shopping While Drinking and next thing you know, I had ALL KINDS of stuff on the way home, lol, including 3 cases of commercial MREs, 1ea. of 3 different brands.

None of them were all that great, in fact I believe the military to be far superior. It's hard for me to give details since it was long ago and I didn't record brands etc. But as I said, some straight-up disappointed (edible and all just nothing to be happy about, and lacking 'accessories' and goodies) some were packed with stuff, the stuff just sucked, and some were "OK" and included the flameless-heater packet. Military MREs, I always loved (but never had to live off them etc. so of course my opinion is not worth a lot).

Regardless- at that price I would have bought all I could, no way it's anything less than a great deal.

Eversafe are good. I can't find them on Amazon anymore but I preferred them over other brands
