So no I have never and never will modify my carry gun beyond the laser and light I have on it.
Itís a tactic they use when idiots break the law and are on trial. What you arenít figuring out yet is donít create a reason to be put on trial. Donít break any law.

Using your logic someone is good as gold breaking the law and actually murdering someone and the prosecutor will have no choice available at all other than never drawing up charges because the murder weapon was completely factory stock.

Your ignorance wonít protect you from the law.

Reading your post itís clear you take to the internet to find out what to do while purposely ignoring your local laws.

You are literally working harder to do nothing than the effort needed to learn your actual local law.

At least you know what the idiots in cyber world have to say about it. Should be a sensible solid defense as you tell the jury the internets right, you didnít need to learn local laws, itís not rocket appliances ladies and gentlemen of the jury, you never modified your weapon. You could even suggest they take a look at your thread and reply history. Thatíll show em. Instant acquittal. Couldnít be anything else, the internet says so.

They will be all over that laser. "The defendant outfitted his gun with a laser like those used by Navy Seals and Special Forces. He clearly has a hero complex and was looking for the opportunity to use his death laser to shoot someone, or why would an over the counter gun with no modifications not be enough for him?"

I'm being a bit facetious of course, and I do agree with the fact that they will try to use anything, even the type of ammo. Hollowpoints vs ball ammo, etc. My opinion is applying upgrades that improve reliability or accuracy have a tangible benefit, even though they are something an attorney can seize on to paint you as a killer. Now a "John Wick edition Master Blaster" will undoubtedly give them a ton of fodder to try and convince a jury that you watched too many action movies an just wanted to kill his poor client who was doing nothing at all wrong.

True but the DA said it takes away some of the hot buttons that juries like. He also advised to use the same ammo as the local LEO. Don't remember why but do remember that it sounded good at the time.
