Looking for leather holster for 4” barreled model 19.
Outside waistband (or inside but I don’t think they exist).
Trying to weed out junk companies. Just want quality.

I use https://lobogunleather.com

I have 3, all are OWB and very comfortable. FYI, they are handmade and take a bit to get (the last one took 6 weeks) but well worth the wait.

I have a DeSantis, but Lobo is good stuff.

Safariland still makes a wide selection for them. That's what mine rides in.

I own a 2.5" bbl Model 19, and have two leather holsters for it by Bianchi that are quite nice.

The first is an inside-the-waistband (IWB) Bianchi #3 "Pistol Pocket". (Not sure it's made for a 4" bbl, but worth a phone call.)

The second is a Bianchi #13 Scorpio shoulder holster rig.

Bianchi has been eclipsed by other holster makers in recent years, and there are many more designs and materials out there now... but as far as I'm concerned Bianchi still makes quality holsters.

+1 on the Bianchi #13.

I am a S&W Model 19 Fanboy. I have a wide selection of leather rigs for my 2.5, 4 and 6" models. Many are duty leather type by Bianchi, Don Hume, Safariland, Tex Shoemaker, S.D. Myers as well as some other makers. A variety of off duty carry models as well. The makers out there are many.

I bought most of my gun leather off’n eBay.
Go with quality brands and look closely at the pictures.
If the seller doesn’t have good pictures then pass on it.
I liked my 5BH while my brother trained with the Hurricane.

(Unfortunately, the leather was stolen with the gun...)
