Default Elko County and Surrounding Areas

Hey guys. My partner and I bought some property outside Elko a couple years ago. We will be moving there with our families next Spring, and working to start/continue a personal protection/dual purpose k-9 breeding and training program. We would LOVE to network with other preppers/survivalists in the area...

Elko county in what state?
If it's Elko, Nevada, well that's a pretty small town with about 20 thousand people.

I'm sorry, I thought that by specifically putting this post in the "Nevada" section it would be obvious that I meant Nevada. In retrospect, I can see how that might be confusing. But yes, I meant Elko Nevada...

20,000 is a small town?

Looked like a real city to me when I visited!
Large airport, big hotels, convention center, both a Sheriff's office and a P.D.

I know this is a year and a half old, but there is also Spring Creek nearby, with a berg just east and west...I think the total population for that area is just under 40,000 people
