Nebraska is a pretty gun friendly state, or was (Not including Douglas County and Blair). I might have to start looking at moving someplace else.

The gist of the story for those TL;DR people is that unless you have a CCW you cannot have any firearm in your vehicle that is reachable by any occupant. I have my CCW so it doesn't really matter to me but it still ****es me off.

My understanding is that, if a weapon is in the vehicle where it can potentially be reached by an occupant, and it's concealed, -every- occupant has to have a CHP. Which makes it quite a bit worse than even you're saying.

"Shall not be infringed", indeed.

The article is from 2016, but when I lived in Nebraska (2003-2006) it did not seem friendly to guns at all. Seems that is still the case.
