I own an ESEE and RAT in addition to other OKC made knives. ESEE has a lifetime, no questions asked warranty. I don't know what OKC offers though. I think if you are on a budget go with the OKC. My personal favorite is their pilot survival knife. If money is no issue get an ESEE.

I've had both the five and six and agree they are probably one of the best built production knives out there my only issue is in Australia they are expensive, I can get custom for close to the same price or a bit more, different in the states though still I would prefer to drop the funds on custom then production
